REGATTA TARPIT 2025!

It was a perfect weekend to teach skateboarding and get the community together to show off our skatepark!

Regatta Tar Pit 2025

JULY 3RD & 4TH

Elk City Skate Shop / Apartment Skateboards / Push Skateboarding will be hosting skateboard clinics. Come learn to skate! No experience needed! Skateboards and Safety equipment will be provided. Make sure to wear proper tennis shoes! / 10am-12pm // 2pm-4pm

JULY 5th & July 6th

Mountain Skate Company will be at the skatepark showcasing their quad skate team and showing off their skills. / 11am-3pm

July 5th

Hissfits Hillbilly Slalom presents The Regatta Rattler on the Kanawha Blvd Bridge South of the skatepark. Come watch the downhill event as they skate and time trial there way downhill weaving through cones and other obstacles at high speeds / 10am-2pm

Elk City Skate Shop / Apartment Skateboards will be hosting a contest event. Best trick on the bank to ledge and game of S.K.A.T.E. / 2pm-4pm

July 4th and July 6th

Elk City Cycles will be hosting a BMX Demo from 10am-1PM

THE SKATEPARK WILL BE OPEN AND AVAILABLE TO ALL DURING THE CHARLESTON STERNWHEEL REGATTA AS WELL AS DURING EVENTS.

ALL ARE WELCOME. HAVE FUN! RIDE WITHIN YOUR ABILITIES!

DRINK WATER! DO NOT RIDE THE PARK IF IT IS WET FROM RAIN! PLEASE PICK UP YOUR TRASH

Skate Shop Day is the day that the skateboard community celebrates our cultural hubs, the foundations of every skate scene, the places that bring skaters together and act as the glue for skateboarding as a whole.

Saturday February 15th we will be celebrating the 5th annual SSD that’s happening at skate shops all over the world 🌎

We will be open our regular wknd hours 9AM - 4 PM. Stop by grab a coffee/donuts and check out all our exclusive merch/hardgoods and support one of the only skate shops in West Virginia! Also we will have raffles/prizes/and gift cards from our supporting sponsors! As well as a GAME OF S.KA.T.E. ( weather permitting )
