I'm excited to share that I've partnered with Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission to offer my new class, Starlight Musical Theatre, for the homeschooling community!
This is a structured workshop where students train in singing, acting, and dance while learning to tell stories through song. Creative drama games and improv-based warmups build confidence, imagination, and stage presence. Each 4-week session develops foundational performance skills and culminates in a mini showcase for families in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
THURSDAYS
1:00-1:45 PM | Ages 7-9 ($80 for residents of Jefferson County/$85 for non-residents)
2:00-3:00 PM | Ages 10-12 ($90 for residents of Jefferson County/$95 for non-residents)
Registration fee includes instruction and all class materials (sheet music, scripts, practice recordings, etc.).
Session 1: September 24 - October 15
Session 2: October 22 - November 19 (*no class Nov. 5th)
Each four-week session explores different aspects of musical theatre performance. Enroll in one session or both to continue building your acting, singing, and stage skills.
Location: Sam Michael's Park amphitheater stage (or dance room in Jefferson Community Center in case of inclement weather)
