Monday, October 19th 2026: Squad Support

I was honored to recently donate a Retron 1 HD console to the Park Elementary Fall Fun Fest to support the students and school community. Park Elementary holds a special place in my heart as I was a student there myself as a youngster, so being able to contribute now as a local business owner means so much.

A huge thank you to Park Elementary and a special shoutout to Freya for sending over this wonderful thank you card! Your kind words made my day.

Thank you all for supporting Hilltop Retro so we can continue to give back to our local community! ❤️🎮

Closed today, Monday, as usual.

Monday, October 12th 2026: Playing Favorites

Saw this gamer meme the other day, and honestly for me it's 100% true.

It also got me thinking about why we all love what we love. For me, it's easy as Metroid is my favorite game series of all time, and my favorite game is Super Metroid. (An SNES masterpiece that still holds up today in every single way IMO.)

What about you? What is your all-time favorite game series, and what is your absolute favorite game? Bonus points if your favorite game is actually part of your favorite series. Or did a totally different game franchise steal your top spot?

Drop your picks in the comments.

Closed today, Monday, as usual. See you tomorrow at 11am.
