Background

Peg and Leslie have been talking about art and community for over 10 years now...as they passed each other on their morning walks with their dogs they would ask about how each of their art practices was going and where are they showing. Several years later they formed NWAG, to bring a modern spin to the concept of the traditional art guild. The guild provides numerous venues and events throughout the year for artists to display, market, and sell their art.

They are now occupying the loft space within Family Britches in Chappaqua, NY. The Art Closet Gallery will bring a selection of emerging artists to curated exhibitions throughout the year. Leslie and Peg will also use their art 4 a cause philosophy to help raise funds and awareness for local humanitarian organizations.
