Beginning Monday, August 31, The Rec will have new pool hours:

💦 Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

☀️ Saturday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🌊 Sunday
12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: The pool will be CLOSED from 2:00–3:00 PM Monday through Friday.

We were honored to welcome United States Congresswoman Carol Miller to the Chief Logan Recreational Center yesterday during the Fallen Heroes Mine Rescue Competition.

We truly appreciate Congresswoman Miller taking the time to stop by, tour The Rec, and see firsthand the incredible work and dedication of the mine rescue teams who participated in this important event.

Events like the Fallen Heroes Mine Rescue Competition are a proud reminder of the courage, skill, and commitment of those who help keep our miners and communities safe.

Coming soon to the Chief Logan Recreational Fields!!!

❤️🥎❤️🥎❤️🥎We’re getting excited for the upcoming Back to School Tinnel Strong softball tournament at Chief Logan State Park!
A lot of Jennifer’s family and close friends are from the Chapmanville area, and they’ve spent plenty of time on the road watching Luke, Holly, and Jackson play their sports. So we thought, why not bring everyone a little closer to home this time and enjoy some great softball together?
Come out, hang with family and friends, cheer on the players, and enjoy a fun day at the park. We’d love to see everyone there and make some great memories! Hope to see you there! ❤️🥎❤️🥎❤️🥎

⚠️ SCHEDULE CHANGES AT THE REC THIS WEEK ⚠️

Due to the Mine Rescue Event taking place at the Rec this week, we will have several temporary schedule changes.

As of now, there will be NO:
• Pickleball
• Tennis
• Spin
• Zumba
• Line Dancing
• Pilates
• Water Aerobics

We will keep everyone updated and let you know as soon as the courts and classrooms reopen and our regular schedule can resume.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we host this important event in our community!
