REGISTRATION OPEN: Pottery Wheel 101 Starts: Nov. 02
14 Wheels, Instruction, Tools, Supplies, Clay, and access to (6) Hours of instruction each week!

With each enrollment you can come to an AM or PM class time OR BOTH for the same cost. $350 gives you access to Tuesday AM/PM; Thursday AM/PM and a BONUS Saturday Morning session. BOOK--> https://www.claycafeceramics.com (Select "Courses" to see these course options).

Will there be shorter courses? YES--> 4-Week Refreshers & Mini's will follow this beginner's course. Wanna learn Tea Pots & other Lidded forms. Take a 4-week Mini. 4-Week Mini's will start in January.

Registration for Friday's "Sit 'n Spin" 45 min "try it" class starts tomorrow for class this Friday! Choose a 7pm or 8pm start time. $35/each; Do both sessions for a fun Date Night! Includes (2) Dessert Lattes. Potters will have a 45 minute wheel session AND a glaze session after they create their masterpiece!

Hello, Friends! My name is Katherine (Ms. K) and I'm excited to introduce myself and tell you a little about me.

I have a BFA in Art Ed (concentrating in many mediums) printmaking, painting, ceramics, & figure study (drawing). I took many upper-level independent studies as I just wanted as many opportunities to learn art as I possibly could.

To be honest, ceramics wasn't my most favorite class; Drawing & Printmaking were! However, as my art journey has progressed, clay opened up a healing journey unlike any other.

Our family has been in the art business now for nearly 16 years formally. However, I started in our neighborhood (Waterford) back in 2005 teaching a small group of summer camp kids drawing & painting.

I knew I wanted to make a difference by impacting others' healing journeys as well. As a child, I went through unimaginable trauma and the effects followed me for many, many years until finally I laid it to rest through art.

The past few years of sacrifices have been extremely tough on our family in many ways I won't go into here. However, we are incredibly grateful God has given us another opportunity to create with a community of like-minded folks on this incredible clay culture path!

We can't wait to build something special with you! I think you will really love what we have created for you and your families here in Chapin.
