I recently heard this wonderful yoga studio will be torn down. —-Murals I’ve painted have been painted over before and I have been totally fine with it. Kids grow up, nurseries get painted over, stores change locations. It’s all part of our turning world! This mural being torn feels a bit different. It’s incredibly sad..and strangely appropriate, considering the message of transformation. Pittsboro is going through change. It’s a wonderful location and has a lot of character. This mural will always have a special place in my heart. It was a first public art call I applied for and earned, the monks .usa walked by it;), butterflies and flowers are my favorite subject to paint and theme felt so right for this beautiful business in such a sweet setting.
