LEVEL is pleased to announce one of our favorite artists and humans, sound sculptor , will be presenting work in North Carolina next month!

First, be sure to check out his “Meditation with Sun Boxes” – a meditative installation comprised of 20 solar-powered speakers, each playing a distinct guitar note that converges to create the harmonious Bb6 chord – on display at from April 8-25th, as part of the the “Your Brain on Art” exhibition curated by the . The soothing sounds of the Sun Boxes form a perfect backdrop for mindfulness, encouraging wandering, pauses and reflection.

Then, on Thursday April 24th (rain date Friday April 25th), LEVEL presents a free, live performance of Craig’s “Mr. Blue and His Tongue” at the Forest Theatre in Chapel Hill, an extended and semi-improvised piece for bowed electric guitar and bass clarinet. Truly not to be missed, this singular voice in contemporary sound and sculpture playing in a perfectly suited setting!

Presented with thanks to for their generous financial support!

Additional thanks to and for making all of this possible! 💖
