We are so excited to host the Castaways Chase Your Trail event tomorrow morning here at Wehlage Family Farm! 🐾🌿

Not only does this event support an amazing cause that is near and dear to our hearts, but it also celebrates so many things we love most — being outdoors, exploration, movement, community, and those slow mornings filled with intention and connection.

We’ll have the bounce pad out for kids to enjoy, music playing, and a nature scavenger hunt bingo card for kiddos participating in the 3K walk! ☀️ Don't forget Golden Grounds will be posted up, breakfast yummies for sale and you can also visit the mimosa station. 👀

Whether you’re running, walking, bringing your pup, your family, or just coming to soak in the atmosphere, we can’t wait to share this beautiful morning with all of you while supporting the incredible mission of Castaways Animal Shelter 💛

With the upcoming snowstorm and extreme cold front, Wehlage Family Farm wants to help keep outdoor pets warm and safe.
If your furry friends must stay outside and need extra warmth, we are giving away straw bales FREE of charge to anyone in need for outdoor pet shelters.

✅ Only avaliable for outdoor pets.
✅ Maximum of 2 bales per person
✅ Free delivery in Chanute, Iola, and Humboldt
✅ Free help spreading straw around outdoor shelters if needed

This cold front is expected to bring possible heavy snow and dangerously low wind chills lasting several days. Straw provides excellent insulation and can make a big difference for pets exposed to these frigid temperatures.
