After several months, I finally gave in and took a friend up on her invitation to go to Zumba. After my first class I knew I found what I had been hoping for after having baby #2 and looking to loose the "baby weight". After 6 months of 3x/week zumba I reached my weightloss goal, and was ready for the next thing. As life would have it my favorite instructor relocated, and I was left with no one li
ke her! So I was moved by the possibility of helping other moms reach their fitness goals and became Zumba certified. My daughter would watch me rehearse and began showing signs of being a little instructor herself, she is the reason I decided to continue onto Kids Zumba. Watching her momma have a blast and take care of her body was an eye opener for me. How truly important it is to SHOW our kids the importance of self care. I have volunteered at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Childrens Hospital in DC, and brought joy and dance to parents and kids. I hope to bring you the same whenever we dance together- I look forward to meeting you! Zumba is my "Happy Hour" from my busy schedule of Wife, Mom, Spanish Teacher, and soon to be homeschooler! I hope to have an opportunity to share joy and happiness through a song or two in class :-)
