CHAMPIONSHIP LESSONS

In 2016, I was very fortunate to coach on a team that won the Minnesota Boys State Basketball Championship.

What separated our team that year over any other year was that we totally sold out to doing things differently than anyone else.

We did things that didn’t come naturally.

We broke down habits that led to failure and built up habits that let to success.

We limited the distance between knowing and doing by asking great questions.

We were vulnerable with each other to build a stronger brotherhood together.

We took ownership over everything.

We cared enough to listen to each other.
