What a blast we all had at the 2026 Hennepin Arts Spotlight Showcase! Our Anything Goes production was invited to perform a medley at the event, and so many individuals in our program were featured with other talent throughout the state of Minnesota in numbers recognizing school representatives, dance and musical honorees, and a special performance highlighting graduating seniors! And best yet, our own Morgan Taylor was awarded the 2026 Farrell Dance Award! Such a terrific way to celebrate the year! Spotlight Education

Congratulations to Audrey Eikenberry, our 2026 recipient of CP Theatre’s newly renamed community scholarship, The Cristi Anderson Champlin Park Theatre Association Scholarship. Audrey has shown dedication and commitment on stage and her passion for the program is one to celebrate! Audrey will be attending Winona State University in the fall, pursuing a major in nursing. Congratulations, Audrey – we’re so proud of you! (Audrey pictured here with Caden, Carly, and Lexi Anderson – children of Cristi Anderson.) Cristi was a former CPTA Board Member whom we sadly lost in the fall of 2025. Cristi’s love for, and contributions to, the CP theatre program will carry on year after year as we continue dedicating this sponsorship in her memory.
