🍂🖤 A little peek into what’s coming to The Scratching Post… 🖤🍂

I’ve been working on a brand-new collection of illustrations for my upcoming exhibition at The Scratching Post, and I’m so excited to finally start sharing them with you!

This collection brings together two of my favorite things: the cozy magic of autumn and the strange, spooky beauty of gothic horror. From whimsical cats and falling leaves to haunted figures, folklore, and darker tales, there’s a little bit of sweet, strange, and spooky waiting to be discovered. 🐈‍⬛🎃

I’ll also be bringing new print sizes and collector prints, along with stickers featuring my original artwork!

There’s just something about fall that I absolutely adore. 🍂✨

The crisp air, warm colors, cozy evenings, and that little hint of magic that seems to settle over everything.

So naturally, I had to make some art about it. 🐈🎃

An Autumn Serenade is one of my newest illustrations, celebrating the softer, sweeter side of the season, and it’s just one piece from my upcoming fall collection!

I’m so excited to bring this new collection to The Scratching Post next month, where cozy cats, autumn romance, and a little gothic spookiness will all come together. 🖤🍂

Able in CU wouldn’t have been possible without all the community support. I am forever grateful 🥰

A new exhibition opening this week is putting people with disabilities in the spotlight.

“Able in CU” is a project featuring eight charcoal portraits including two self-portraits and six individual portraits by artist Shauri Gonzalez. She said her goal was to celebrate the resilience of people with disabilities.

“Instead of it being a project describing everybody’s struggles, it’s actually describing everybody’s successes and how they keep moving forward within the community, even with disabilities,” Gonzalez explained.

She said she partnered with the Developmental Services Center to find volunteers with a range of disabilities and then interviewed each volunteer to understand how they see themselves and their disability.
