Wanna learn more about wrestling? Acting? Public speaking? Costuming? How to name drop your wrestling persona in a game of Two Truths and a Lie?

Great.

Then come to the University Main Library for a panel of our wrestlers, including some of our retired and most beloved. I'm talking about Your Mom, Dewey Decimator, Corn Stalker, Moist Owlette, Gal Fieri, Attila the Hen, Hot Mess Marie, and Ref Randi.

We're going to have a riotous time, probably, and it will be a great way to check us out if you're INTERESTED IN WRESTLING.

Speaking of, we're still recruiting. We're on the path to greatness paved with the blood of our enemies. You can be for us or against us. And I don't know if you've ever been suplexed in your driveway by a giant warmongering chicken without our patented Ā©ļøFall Training, but it would not be pleasant. So get off your couch and become The Couch and show Champaign-Urbana what you're made of.

WHO WE ARE

CLAW is a gaggle of badass wrasslers, avenging the world's wrongs and entertaining those weary of wars and floods and parking tickets. We are dedicated to building up all women. Through comedy and strength, wrestlers and characters explore issues such as smashing the patriarchy, gender role stereotypes, and social inequity.

We are a feminist organization that aims to empower women in our community by providing a platform for wrestlers to demonstrate their athletic and comedic prowess. CLAW is dedicated to creating and promoting a safe and inclusive environment for both participants and spectators, while also benefiting local nonĀ­profit organizations through charitable donations and service.

Cisgender women, trans women and non-binary people are all welcome as wrestlers. Cisgender men and trans men are able to be involved as supporting characters or with behind the scenes support. We accept people of all colors, ability, experience, size and strength in CLAW.
