I’ve been reflecting on Psalm 23 and the image of Jesus as the shepherd who gently leads and restores our souls.

In a world that constantly pushes us to hurry, these verses remind me that we are cared for, guided, and invited to rest.

Work in progress.

Not every stage of painting feels clear or confident. Sometimes it’s just showing up, making small decisions, and trusting the process.

There’s something deeply spiritual about continuing even when the outcome isn’t obvious yet.

A reminder to myself today: small steps still matter.

Quiet moments in the studio.

This painting grew slowly over several days, layer by layer. I’ve been thinking about how creativity often asks us to slow down enough to notice what God is already doing in our lives.

Painting reminds me to pay attention — to color, to light, and to the quiet work happening beneath the surface.
