After some help from some parents and some girls, we have a coach and it sounds like we have enough interest to have a 14U softball team. While we won't be part of a league I have some contacts for some non league games along with a tournament or 2. Here is the link to sign your daughter up!

Just a reminder that summer rec 2026 registration is open, 14 activities and over 30 different sessions for children from ages 3 to 12!

If you have a ball player playing either I-90 baseball or softball, I do have some black softball and some gray baseball pants at my office that you can have. First come first serve.

Sign-ups for the rec-development baseball league are up and going. Registration will go until May 17th and practice will begin on May 18th at 5:30 at the Cemetery field, and will be Mon and Thurs 5:30-6:30. This league is for 6-12 yr olds, to help them learn the game of baseball and develop the skills they need in a non-competitive, fun environment.

Guess what? It is that time of the year! Registration for summer recreation programs is now open! We have 14 different activities for children ages 3-12 years old! Check out the descriptions you can go online to Cityofchamberlain.com or pick up a catalog at the Community Center, the library or the city offices. Question for our great followers of Chamberlain Recreation, especially those with children in the summer rec program, I am working on a schedule for the summer. While the younger kids seem to enjoy the soccer, I have been looking for an alternative for the older 7-12 age group, and I was thinking possibly tennis, with the popularity of pickleball, maybe tennis is one of those skills that kids can learn and use as they grow and mature through life, I welcome any thoughts and ideas.

Any 12U softball players that are not playing middle school ball are invited to start practicing with the 10u team. They practice at 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm at Saukerson Field.
