Who's set to take the stage at the 2026 Highlonesome Music Festival? It’s none other than Justin Larkin! We’re excited to welcome you on Labor Day weekend, from September 3-6, 2026, amidst the beautiful hills and hollers close to Ava, MO.
Hailing from Springfield, MO, Justin Larkin is a talented singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who has been captivating audiences across the Midwest for more than 15 years. His distinctive sound, which he refers to as "Cosmic Ozarkana Music," is a rich fusion of Roots, Soul, and rock ‘n’ roll, drawing inspiration from his childhood days listening to local oldies radio, as well as from artists like the Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Chris Cornell, and George Jones. Since 2018, he has developed an innovative solo act that incorporates a modified suitcase drum made from license plates, foot tambourines, and harmonica, creating a "full band vibe" in his one-man performances.
