Last week Art Guild traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for their annual spring trip this year! Their itinerary packed with all sorts of fun. Read a bit about their trip below! ⬇ ⬇ ⬇

🌅🚐✈️Day one the travel to the destination began. From a 4 hour drive to the airport and a 2 hour flight to Vegas. They cruised the streets of the "Entertainment Capital of the World".

☀️🥾🪨Day two Art Guild spent the day out in the sun with a hike near the Red Rock Canyon, spending time in both Nevada and Arizona by walking around Hoover Dam, then ended the day with a final drive out of the city and towards the 7 Magic Mountains.

🚀🖼🌌Day three was all about museums and galleries. With a morning visit to the Atomic Museum, a noon tour around an art exhibit at the Marjorie Barrick Museum at UNLV, to finally getting our of this world in the OmegaWolf and OmegaMart!

🎨🏙🎲Day four Art Guild members met with artist, Bobbie Ann Howell, at the Nevada Humanities and Art office. The remaining time the club walked around the strip sight seeing before ending the night with vibrant lit signs at the Neon Museum.

🌅🛫🚐Day five the club says goodbye to Vegas and fly out and drive their way back to Chadron State College.

Today Art Guild participated in the annual Big Event by cleaning up trash along the east highway. Lots of fun, lots of bags, lots of pizza, and lots of head scritches for Scrappy the cat 🐈‍⬛️

"What has Art Guild been up to?" I hear you asking, well there's a lot, but let's start with their latest project first!

Near the end of February Art Guild got hired on to paint a logo mural for Chadron's Solid Waste Agency on the wall of their new office building. With help from the members, friends, and SWANN the club was able to finish the final touches last week!

Big shout out to SWANN for hiring the Club on to do this project. We are always happy to bring art to any surface.🎨❤️

✨✨ Kirby Cornfield is a member in Art Guild majoring in Secondary Science Education! In her spare time she enjoys making art, reading, hanging out with friends, hiking and adventuring outdoors! Her favorite part of Art Guild is meeting new people that share a common interest in art and making friends! Her favorite piece of art she made is an elephant she made during a slow day at work!

Emma Hilbers is out Vice President! Emma is a sophomore in business education! In her free time she likes to take pictures and hike! Her favorite part about art guild is the friends in it and the fun events Art Guild puts on around campus! Her favorite artwork is the beautiful picture she took on the next slide!
