What does it mean to make and to maintain, to build and then clean up? "Now, you do the dishes!" at the Knauer Gallery at West Chester University is a reflection on labor, domesticity, and the uneasy tension of the current sociopolitical moment, told through clay and mixed-media artworks. It features artwork by Clay@WCU Residents Mia Fabrizio and John Shea, as well as Residency Director Andrew Snyder. The Art Trust at Meridian Bank has been a core part of the local art community since it opened in 2006, celebrating the vibrant contemporary art scene of the Brandywine Valley. Located in Downtown West Chester, its regular rotation of exhibitions showcases a wide range of artists, from established studios to under-represented groups.
