Yesterday was a productive day, played with the chameleon pigments, which were rich and fun. Did some alcohol ink on the green and he's quite lovely. Also got the large calf finished, amd did a glow in the dark one as well. Have a few ideas brewing, did count on the body box😂 I have 37 equine, 2 bucks, a moose in progress. 4 cattle, and a pig.... I gotta get some of them started

Magic Man's portrait model getting some work today done, least while the weather cooperated. Looks good got a bit to go yet but it's looking a lot like him. Quite exciting to see the model come to life finally, hopefully weather improves on not raining tomorrow and I can possibly finish. Also Calf-zilla I'm calling the big calf should finally be ready to get sealed, lots if spots kept showing up with each layer on touching up, took a good amount of black paint, but can't wait to see her finished as well!

Getting my mind ready to think about NaMoPaiMo and what I'm going to be doing, I do believe Jacob has his model picked out but not sure on the color maybe.

Picking up a paint brush again, been a but due to lack of desire amd how life had been wonky. Finally got the fire again, though working the grain elevator now for harvest will make it a tad tricky. But decided that it was Finally though starting thr portrait model of one of the Hereford herd bulls, Magic Man. This bull certainly has captured part of my heart with his character.

First few layers of acrylic added then turned to pastels, which there are some more I added to the stash thanks to a trip to Blick's on Galesburg not that long ago. Pan Pastels and some other paints and tools, but we got most of Rowen done, details remain but a good start and ending point for the day.

Sanded some on Rowen before I was happy how he looked, then we primed before it got much more muggy than it was to start the day with. Afternoon run to check the booth at South Eden Antique and home to start to paint more.

How to create a scale cast? With some serious thinking, I got some gauze, my epoxy, some plastic wrap and a rolling pin, made it into like a pie crust essentially. Cut it to fit better and molded it on, THEN applied the 1 inch vet wrap to the still soft epoxy, pressed to get impression of texture and carefully took it off! Honestly I surprised myself on this, but it works for Rowan🥰🥰

I seriously should have done photos of each step, but eh. You have the general idea!

Spent some time sanding and adjusting proportion on Rowan's portrait, he's got a little more that needs added to but for where we are he's looking cute! Still mulling how to do his cast, but it's a ways before I get to that point to.

Video 2, I'm not too sure if there will be a ton of videos done with other projects, but it doesn't hurt.
