CORA CLONTZ- Alice Spencer

Cora Clontz is an 18 year old who will be going to the University of Montevallo in the fall to further her education in their BFA Musical Theatre program. Some of her favorite roles she’s played include Veronica Sawyer (Heathers the Musical), Alice Spencer (Alice by Heart), Bea (Something Rotten Jr.), Betty Gold in (Hello, My Baby! the Musical), Astrid (How to Train Your Dragon Jr.), Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing), Belva Summers (The Lottery), and Puck/Robin Goodfellow (A Midsummer Nights Dream). She just finished her second and unfortunately last year on Ghost Light’s award-winning competition team. She holds this show very close to her heart, and is so incredibly grateful to reprise the role of Alice because she wants to share this beautiful and moving story with more people. She hopes you enjoy falling down the whole with us!

ELIJAH KELLEY- Alfred/White Rabbit/March Hare

Elijah Kelly is a 19 year old performer and resident from Oneonta. He has been a part of over 65 productions throughout his lifetime and his most recent roles include: Alice by Heart (Alfred / White Rabbit), Little Women the Musical (John Brooke), Suite Surrender (Otis), Heathers the Musical (JD), Descendants (Jay), Mean Girls Jr. (Kevin G), Singing in the Rain (Don Lockwood), and Hello! My Baby (Mickey McKee). When not performing onstage, he enjoys music directing for Ghost Light Theatre Company’s award winning competition travel team, playing piano and writing music. This show holds a special place in his heart and he has loved getting to revisit it with a new perspective!

ELIZABETH LINDSEY- Nurse Cross/Queen of Hearts

Elizabeth Lindsey is excited to be returning to the TheatreCentre stage. She is an upcoming senior at Cherokee County High School. Her past roles include: Paulette in “Legally Blonde Jr.,” Jesus in “Godspell Jr.,” Mama Morton in “Chicago Teen Edition,” and Red Girl in “Shout! The Musical.” She would like to thank her friends and family for their support.

CONNOR THOMAS- Dr. Butram/Jabberwocky/King of Hearts

Connor Thomas has always had a passion for music. He’s been singing at churches around the state of Alabama his whole life with his younger siblings, Chayse and Caylee Thomas. He also plays the guitar in his free time. His favorite roles include ensemble in The Pirates of Penzance (CACBC), the Narrator in Puffs (Ghostlight Theatre Co.), Elvis in the Million Dollar Quartet (CACBC), and Ram Sweeney in Heather's the Musical (Ghostlight Theatre Co.). His latest role was Escapologist in Matilda the Musical. He's ready to terrify you as the Jabberwock in Alice By Heart

SARAH CROW- Tabatha/Cheshire Cat

Sarah Crow is an upcoming freshman at the University of Montevallo pursuing a degree in speech-language pathology with a minor in deaf studies. Some of her favorite roles include Elle Woods (Legally Blonde JR), Barbara Maitland (Beetlejuice JR), and Miss Honey (Matilda). She wants to thank all her family, friends, and mentors for helping her grow her love of performing over the years. MARLEE SANFORD- Nigel/Doormouse

Marlee Sanford is a junior at Gadsden City High School. Marlee is an active member of Alabama Repertory Theatre’s (Bama Rep) competition team and the GCHS Danceline. She has been in many shows over her career, including Chicago: Teen Edition (Velma), Legally Blonde Jr, Hadestown: Teen Edition (Fate), and Godspell Jr (Soloist). This will be Marlee’s fifth year with TheatreCentre, and she is excited to be surrounded by so many talented peers!

COLE WILSON- Harold Pudding/Mad Hatter

Cole Wilson is 21 years old and a Junior at Montevallo University. He started theatre in January 2022 and immediately fell in love with it. Some of his favorite roles include the Emcee in Cabaret, Colonel Mustard in Clue, and Mad Hatter in Alice by Heart. He is very excited to be a part of this show!!!

NOAH KELLY- Dodgy/Duchess

Noah Kelly is a 17-year-old homeschooled junior and a member of Ghost Light Theatre Company’s competition team. He has been performing regularly in community theatre and competition shows for the past 7 years and always loves challenging roles. Some of his most memorable roles have been Cosmo Brown in Singing in the Rain Jr, Leaf Coneybear in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Fester in Addams Family. Noah has the best time performing with his siblings and friends and is definitely growing his acting chops in this production. He is excited to get to play Duchess in this amazing production of Alice by Heart!

ALLY TOWNSEND- Clarissa/Queen of Diamonds

Ally Townsend is so excited to make her debut with TheatreCentre! She is currently a Gadsden State student majoring in art. EMORY MUSICK- Caterpillar 2

Emory Musick is 16 years old and thrilled to be a part of this production. Some of Emory’s favorite past roles include Grandma Addams in The Addams Family, Eurydice in Hadestown, and Joan in A Murder Mystery. Emory will be a junior at Oxford High School for the 26-27 school year and wants to obtain a BFA in Musical Theatre in college. Emory would like to thank her family, friends, and directors for their constant love and support, and hopes you enjoy the show!

DYLAN KEASLER- Angus/Caterpillar

Dylan is proud to return to the Theater Centre stage for this wonderful production of Alice By Heart! He has starred in multiple Theater Centre productions: Judas in Godspell Jr., Simba in The Lion King Jr., Ensemble in Shrek Jr., and Troy in High School Musical. He was also cast in the JSU Opera and Theater department’s 2022 production of Little Women as John Brooke. When he’s not on the stage, he loves to help neighboring theater communities with casting, music, and sets! Dylan is also a recent graduate of The Works School of Cosmetology. He’d like to thank his instructors for their guidance and hopes to make them proud in his pursuits! Dylan is so, so incredibly proud of this cast of amazingly talented young adults and cannot wait to see where they go in life! He thanks you all for coming to see the show.

CAMMY TOWNSEND- Duck/Knave of Spades

Cammy Townsend is a 19-year-old college student at Gadsden State and has been doing theatre for many years, starting at just 3 years old! Some previous stage credits of hers include Puffs, Grease, Hello! My Baby, Singin' in the Rain, Heathers, Pirates of Penzance, and so many more, as well as competing for one season with Ghostlight. She has loved working with this amazing cast on such a fun show for her Theatre Centre debut!

GRACIE POOLE- Mock Mock Mock Turtle/Knave of Hearts

Hi! My name is Gracie Poole. I am a senior psychology major at Berry College. I graduated from Spring Garden High School, where I was involved with the theatre program when it started in 2020. I had lead roles in Shrek Jr., Addam’s Family, and The Lion King Jr. along with a handful of supporting roles. This is my first production with Theatre Centre, but if all goes well, it will not be my last. I have really enjoyed every minute with this cast, and I look forward to everyone enjoying the show!

HARPER NOWAK- Canary/Mock Mock Turtle/Knave of Clubs

Hello! My name is Harper Nowak, and I am 15 years old. I am going into my sophomore year, and this is my fifth year participating in TheaterCentre. I was in The Little Mermaid Jr. (Mersister), Godspell Jr. (Soloist), Chicago: Teen Edition (Roxie Hart), and helped backstage with Legally Blonde Jr. My extracurriculars include band as well as color guard. I have a passion for entertainment, and I enjoy sharing my passion with the community. It is rewarding to me to witness the results of our hard work, and dedication impacts our amazing audience. MEET THE CAST OF ALICE BY HEART!!!!!

NATE TURNER- Dodo/Mock Turtle

Nate Turner is very excited to be returning to the TheatreCentre stage. He is an upcoming Junior at Cherokee County High School who has been in a number of TheatreCentre productions, including “Little Mermaid Jr.” (Grimsby), “Legally Blonde Jr.” (Warner), “You Have The Right To Remain Dead” (Trevor), and Chicago-Teen Edition (Billy Flynn). When out of costume, Nate likes to play tennis, play video games, and hang out with his cat Cleo.

ACE BENNETT- Pigeon/Mock Mock Mock Mock Turtle

Ace Bennett is excited to make another exciting return to Theatre Centre! Ace is definitely no stranger to the stage, and is always down to put on a show! They have been in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Schoolhouse Rock Live! (twice!), Godspell Jr (twice!), The Lion King Jr, Shrek Jr, and Annie. When Ace isn't on the stage, they can be found immersing themselves in video games, letting their imagination run wild by writing stories, and just being their colorful, wacky self!
