People often ask how long it takes to make my handmade items, so I put together a little cheat sheet. 🧵

I do batch some steps when I’m making multiples—like cutting fabric, pressing, or prepping pieces—to save time, but every item is still sewn, assembled, and finished by me.

No factories. No shortcuts. Just me, my sewing machine, and a playlist that peaked in 2010. 🎶

This sweet old quilt got a second life, and I’ve got plenty more vintage quilts waiting their turn.

The leftovers won’t go to waste either—they’ll become belt bags, door bows, and other goodies.

After a busy weekend at the market, I probably should be unpacking all of my vendor stuff from the vehicle…

Instead, I decided to work on a custom order. 😂✂️

The market setup can wait a little longer—making something special for a customer couldn’t. ❤️

Now back to pretending those bins will unload themselves 😅

I started a small business.

My husband thought he was just being supportive.

My number one employee, Paul, will be there helping out. He applied for a management position but was denied due to a lack of sewing experience and excessive snack breaks. 😂

🎈 Balloon Fest prep is officially underway! 🎈

I’m still working through these hot air balloon door hangers and tweaking the designs as I go. Making a few at a time has been the perfect way to experiment, figure out what I like best, and just have fun with the creative process.

They’re not finished yet, but I’m really excited about how they’re coming together so far. Looking forward to having these ready for the shop and upcoming vendor events as Centralia Balloon Fest gets closer!
