Just drop this one and two others at Sterling KS for the Rice County Arts Council Annual Pairie Arts Exhibition. Titled "The Apple of His Eye" because in feeding him apples Zephyr was having a great time eating them as I took his photo to use as a painting reference. He was a hoot! Thanks to Miss EH and her mother for giving me permisson to use him as my model! The art will undergo a judging process, notification will be this next week, then those pieces which make the cut will be on display until April 19. The last day will be awards and pick up day. All art will be on sale. Always a nice small show with great hosts and wonderful art!

Finished the lily from my garden before I got sick with this nasty cold that is making the rounds. Finally felt strong enough to finish the African Wild Dog tonight and worked on another painting from a trip to Salina's Rolling Hills Zoo a decade past!
