Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo Queen and Court

Our final days of the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo were nothing short of spectacular! We kicked off Friday morning by visiting sponsors like Chick-fil-A and Grange Co-Op, where we signed autographs and invited everyone to the rodeo. The night concluded with our First Responders performance of the rodeo!

Saturday began with an early start at the Rascal Rodeo, an inclusive event featuring modified rodeo events for individuals of all ages, regardless of physical or developmental disabilities. Following the rodeo, we enjoyed a delightful Queen’s Luncheon and then headed to the Family Fun Center to race go-carts. We were thrilled to have all the visiting royalty join us for some fun and entertainment. To conclude the week, we had a patriotic-themed performance. We participated in various activities, including the boot race, pushing cows, and riding on the barrel truck, which brought our final night at the rodeo to a grand end.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our fair board, coordinators, visiting royalty, parents, friends, family, and fans who generously supported and assisted us throughout the week.

We kick started our day off yesterday with our final school visit of the week followed by a sponsor visit and autograph signing at Bi-Mart! It’s been an incredible week teaching kids and talking to people in our community about rodeo!

Last night was Kids Night for the first performance of the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo! From pushing cows, to the barrel truck, and the boot race, there was so much excitement in the arena!

This has been such an incredible week so far for Princess Gracie and I with two radio interviews, 4 school visits, and a huge sponsor dinner tonight!

It’s such an amazing experience to teach children the importance of rodeo and what rodeos queens actually do! Seeing their faces light up when we walk in or taking the time to answer their questions is something that will stick with us forever!

At the sponsor dinner tonight we met so many new faces and were able to help hand out plaques to all the sponsors! Our favorite part of the night has to be when we were gifted a handmade wooden picture frame with our photo in it! This was a very special gift and we truly appreciate the kindness from this community!

Educate, Elevate, Inspire!

That’s exactly what Princess Gracie and I discovered at the Miss Rodeo Oregon clinic! We had an incredibly busy weekend filled with a wealth of knowledge and valuable tips that will help us enhance our skills as rodeo queens. We also had the opportunity to meet many new queens and create stronger friendships.

Thank you to our clinicians Beth Bahem, Lexie Hibbs Cooley, and Kayla Vincent! You made learning easy and gave us good tools to keep practicing! We can’t wait to put all this knowledge to use and see everyone at the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo, May 14-16th!

I had such a wonderful weekend at the High Desert Stampede in Redmond! It was the perfect way to start the season, and I was so proud to see my best friend, Miss High Desert Stampede Bella Hester, shine so brightly at her rodeo!

Throughout the weekend, I had a fantastic time meeting fans, signing autographs with other visiting royalty, assisting with the Rascal Rodeo, and attending a wonderful luncheon hosted by Cares & Whoas. Every night was filled with excitement, from cruising around in the barrel truck to witnessing world champions compete head-to-head.

In honor of it being National Agriculture day, I want to share my experience at the 98th annual Oregon FFA convention held in Redmond Oregon. This was my first year attending the conference and boy did I learn a lot! Representing the Eagle Point FFA chapter was such an honor. Being a part of FFA in general has opened so many doors of opportunities in leadership and friendships for myself.

While I was there I attended several sessions. There was one specifically, where the recognition of all of the hard work and dedication members of the Oregon FFA have put in. Where members obtained their State degree, including 3 of which were from our chapter. I also attended several different workshops that left me with the reminder of how lucky I am to represent such a diverse sport rich in agriculture.

Although today is the national day we celebrate agriculture, we as humans use agriculture 3x a day at the least. So I encourage you to thank a farmer, because without them we wouldn’t be here.
