IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT — REOPENING SOON!!!
Hello again everyone! So, I am eyeballing the week of October 1 to re-open! Because of social distancing things will look a little different as we ease back into it. I am thinking of offering as many as two classes per day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I am also looking at doing one or two online Zoom classes during the week as well for any who would rather do virtual.
Rather than say ahead of time what the classes will be, I am giving priority to families and their close friends who can social distance together in a cluster, due to limited space, and letting the group determine the tule of class. In other words, I can fit up to six kids around my big table comfortably if not having to keep them 6 feet apart. The ages in the group will determine what type of class it is.
For partial groups that are unrelated and not in a cluster, I can accommodate up to two related kids at each end of the table from two different families since there is about 6 feet between each end.
Worst case scenario, I have only one kid at each end of the table.
Last but certainly not least, I will be offering zoom classes that still will have the personal touch and instruction from a live teacher, but you will logon from your own home using your own supplies. These will be private zoom classes, not open to the general public so very safe and secure for kids to join, participate, ask questions, and interact with the teacher and each other. If I have more requests for online classes than I do for in person, priority will be given to the online classes to serve as many kids as possible.
So here’s what I need from you: please reply either in the comments or message me what day and time you would prefer and how many kids you will be bringing that can social distance in a “cluster“. They can either be family or close friends. I can accommodate up to six if not social distancing.
If you have only one or two kids you would like to bring to class, please note there may be one or two other children in the class at the other end of the table.
Feel free to network with other close families to try and get a group of kids you feel comfortable social distancing together in a group with to have a higher chance of being prioritized.
Or if you would prefer an online class, let me know you would rather be doing that and how many kids from your group would participate and the ages. Also preferred days and times, I will do my best to accommodate.
Whew...I know that was a lot! I really hope it made sense, I can’t wait to get back into doing art with kids, I need it as much as they do after all the craziness of 2020 and the fires! Goodness gracious. I can’t wait to hear from all of you and get it on the calendar!
P.S. Pricing is $15 per class per kid in-person
Online classes are $10 per kid per class.
NOTE: Some projects may require 2 or three class sessions to complete.
