Dust off your bell-bottoms and warm up those vocal cords!

We are hosting a Mamma Mia Sing-Along Movie Night to help our talented Crater High School Theatre Arts family reach the "Main Stage" at the Oregon Thespians State Festival! 🎭✨

Our production of The Addams Family Musical was recently selected as one of just two shows statewide to perform on the Main Stage. Now, we need your help to get our cast, crew, and spooky sets there!

📍 Where: Crater Performing Arts Center (655 N. 3rd St, Central Point, OR)
🎟️ Admission:$5 at the door (cash or card)
-Concessions will also be sold!

Update from Inside the 24 Hour Plays… ⏳🎭

The writers have officially gone home (and yes — they wrote ALL night 🙌).
Now it’s go time.

Our actors and directors are deep in rehearsal mode, bringing these brand-new scripts to life for the very first time. Lines are being memorized at lightning speed. Characters are taking shape. Blocking is happening on the fly. Tech is jumping in to support.

This is the moment where the magic really starts to happen. ✨

No rewrites.
No backups.
No extra rehearsal days.

Just bold choices, fast thinking, and a whole lot of heart.

Tonight, these students will step on stage and perform pieces that did not even exist 24 hours ago. It’s brave.t’s chaotic. It’s completely original. And it’s one of the most exciting nights of theatre you’ll ever see.

🎭 24 Hours. No Safety Nets. Pure Magic. 🎭
What usually takes months of rehearsal, the students at Crater HS Theatre Arts are tackling in just one day!
From Friday night to Saturday night, our actors, directors, writers, and tech crew are pulling an all-nighter to write, rehearse, and perform a series of original short plays from scratch. This is theatre in the raw—unpredictable, high-energy, and completely original.
Come witness the chaos and the craft:
