The Gallery looks beautiful and ready for the Gilpin County Democrat Fundraiser. You may buy tickets at the door for $25.00 and take part in the Congressional speakers and silent auction.

Come one come all.

We will be trying our first open mic this Friday, July 31st 6 to 10. We need to kick it off at some point. This is short notice but let's try to get this off the ground. Please share. Word of mouth travels fast in town. Please bring a donation for the donation box so we may share with the art program Gilpin School. BYOB

The Gilpin Arts are looking to establish an open Mic night, possibly the 3rd Friday of each month, at Gilpin Arts 117 Eureka Street, Central City.
This would include music, poetry and short stories. From 6 to 10.
The day is not written in stone.
I am writing to see if there is any level of interest before making any final decisions.
If this interests you and you will attend or participate, please respond YES to this email/post.
Art comes in all forms, let’s celebrate art and our community together.
A night at the gallery sharing our talents in an environment surrounded by beautiful art.
There will be no fee to participate or attend, but we sure would appreciate donations to share with the Gilpin RE-1 school’s art program so they may purchase more art supplies for their school year.
We will also be looking to add a movie night at the gallery when the sun starts to set earlier.

There will be a book reading/sale/signing at Gilpin Arts 117 Eureka St. Central City, CO. Friday, July 24 from noon to 4
An original story by Betsy Shepardson, illustrated and read by Betsy Shepardson. There will be juice, cupcakes and finger puppets to play along with the characters of the story. We hope to see many of you here. Spread the word.
