Iowa's scariest haunted trail featuring nearly half a mile of dark and winding paths through the woods. Come meet our monsters in their home, they will happily terrorize you if you don't run away from them screaming first. Find your way out of Socko's "Fun" House
As if Socko's Fun House wasn't a trip on its own, all new for our 2022 season we have doubled the square footage and added a ton of new surprises to delight and torment! Jingles, Bendy, Bobo, and the rest never make it easy to find your way out of this real maze, filled with fog, strobes, lasers and more. Socko's Fun House meant to disorient, disturb, and confuse even the bravest of our victims. Did we mention we locked all our clowns in there?

As the fog settles and the screams fade, we want to take a moment to say thank you — to every guest who braved the darkness, every volunteer who gave their all, and every member of our incredible cast and crew who poured heart, sweat, and madness into bringing Circle of Ash to life this season.

From the first shriek in Frightmare Forest the last echo in The Manor and every nervous giggle in between, you helped make this year unforgettable. Whether you screamed, laughed, or ran for your life (or all three), your energy fuels what we do.

Circle of Ash is the haunted attraction that you've known and loved for nearly 20 years! We're out at the Linn County Fairgrounds, located at 201 Central City Road in Central City, Iowa, and we're ready to deliver more scares than ever before with THREE different haunted houses in one place. First our classic stand by: Circle of Ash! It's our 8th season delivering the best indoor style show. Even the bravest can't hide all of their fear fear from our ghouls. The most eerie walk through the woods around: Frightmare Forest! Was that a tree creaking or something more sinister? Come find out what the forest has in store for you. And lastly: Pandemonium! Exactly what you'd expect from a bunch of clowns. Enter the red and white striped tent if you dare. You will get lost. You will be teased by clowns. Hopefully you can find your way out!

New this year: Cursed - What happens when you take what isn’t years? Norman Goematt was a successful coin collector. After making his greatest discovery of all; ancient, never before seen coins from the far north. He became a withdrawn and locked himself away in his study. The maid fears hes dead, and his family has asked you to investigate when you arrive you find the door locked itself behind you. Can you escape his study?
