My heart is a little hurt after saturdays event. I made my vendors fee back but I also got us lunch and got a few Christmas presents. It hurts when people walk by and do not even look at your stuff. I work very hard to make unique and very functional items at a reasonable cost. I will not change the way I do things, but dragging my broken body to this event, bearing hours of heat in pain, made it a bitter pill to swallow.

It was a toasty one out there but it didn’t keep the people away. I made enough to cover my vendor fee but not much more...

It was a toasty one out there but it didn’t keep the people away. I made enough to cover my vendor fee but not much more. I am not sure if such a large amount of vendors helped or hurt. Pain was pretty crazy at time from the accident but I made it through.

So I got in a car accident today. This is my left hand after being compression wrapped for 5 hours. My car is totaled and I hurt everywhere. I still plan on attending the Squash and Gobble on Saturday but will be moving a lot slower than usual since I have a lot of soft tissue bruising from the seatbelt and all of the airbag impact. I will be setting up my buisness at a large garage sale in Central City by Jan’s Burgers. I also just got my booth location confirmed for the Squash and gobble Sept 19th. So excited for local events. Better get crocheting.
