Brittney completed her first solo record “Stronger Than You Know” in 2012, and since, has begun to dedicate her time to her passion of teaching others the things she has studied and learned throughout the years. Her students learn to sing with ease, perform with power and confidence, and develop their own unique style and artistry. Brittney's students have met with great success and have competed and performed with America's Got Talent, The Voice, Centerpoint Legacy Theatre, and Hale Centre Theater.

Come join us August 9th, 2025 at 7:00pm for such a great night!

Newbies, beginners, intermediate, pros all welcome. My aim for every open mic night is always for you guys to get the time on stage you deserve to really enjoy your time up there!

Bring 2-3 songs and some of your favorite people to hang out and support some great talent. This event is open to the public. Can’t wait to see you there!

Some thoughts I’ve been sitting with lately.

Singing, when it’s truly free, feels bigger than me.

And in the past when I haven’t been able to access that space—because of vocal tension, reflux, illness—it’s been frustrating in a way that’s hard to explain.

If you’re in the middle of that too, I get it.

You’re not broken. And you’re not alone.

I can’t say it enough, every voice is different and unique. You need to know exactly what it is that *your* voice needs and then practice, practice, practice. Build in the coordination for what you’re hoping to achieve just like an athlete would condition their muscles for the task at hand.
