Man it's been a hot minute since I've been on. Life has been crazy with my promotion to manager, Hailie's senior year, and the crazy snow storm that came through! So don't mind me while I cry about my baby graduating ❤️

Last day of summer…this summer has been full of healing, growth, and self love. I will stand in the sun and won’t let anyone cast a shadow over it. I still have a lot more to heal from….but that’s what being in a 20 year abusive marriage will do and then another 20 years of being raised in an abusive household will do. However I will stand tall and hopefully help someone else through their journey of self discovery, because without some strong women in my court that helped me stand when I couldn’t I don’t know if I would have had the strength to leave and have a voice of me my own. I still have my go fund me page open and link in the bio. I’m still over $3,000 in lawyer bills. Even sharing my link with someone is helping my girls and I.

Went to visit my sister in Utah, where she took me on my first canyoning adventure! With this new freedom of being able to discover who I am as a person, away from the abuse, I’m learning so much about myself. So I can now say I absolutely love canyoning…especially in Zion!

Thats a wrap! Got home to have my youngest want to practice some nail work…. Ummmm yes please…and using one of my hand woven cotton towels 🥰 crawled into bed to have the CEO Bert making biscuits…no sir this tired momma has to go to her third job tomorrow morning 😴 thank you to everyone who supported me whether it was through a sale, following me, sharing my posts, or even just stopping by to say hi and good luck ❤️ I felt so much love today

This weekend I was in full show prep for the Centerville Americana 4th of July event! Yup I’ll be sharing a booth space with my co worker! So Queen Zoe decided that she needed a nap on the warp of my Centerville High School colors. These hand woven 100% dish towels will be on sale!!! I watched the newest season this weekend and omg love!

I hope that with me sharing my personal journey that it will help someone know they aren’t alone in their struggles. Mental health and healing from an abusive marriage is like a wave…there are calm days and then there are days that the ocean swallows you up. Today is one of those calm days. The sun is shining and I can smile. Today I win. So I will ride this beautiful wave and live in the moment.
