We’re cleaning up the barnyard and getting everything ready… meanwhile Missouri has apparently decided it’s summer again. 😅☀️

Come spend a relaxing evening at Piles Ranch and enjoy the animals at your own pace! 🤎

Meet our baby bunnies up close
Visit with Pua & Tala, our piglets
Hang out with a few of our goats
Visit the rest of the ranch crew through the fence
Let the kids play in the corn pit
Bring a blanket and relax down by the pond

Stay for 30 minutes or hang out for the full 2 hours — totally up to you! No rushing from station to station. Just an easy evening at the ranch with your family. 😍

We have TWO chances to visit the ranch this week — including our last Little Ranchers of August and a NEW, more relaxed setup for our Back to School event!

Join us for our last Friday morning Little Ranchers before we switch over to our September schedule! Come enjoy a slow morning at the ranch with the animals, play and hands-on fun. 🤎

We’re changing things up and keeping this one SIMPLE — think open petting-zoo-style ranch visit rather than a scheduled session!

Come out anytime between 4–6 PM and enjoy:

Piles Ranch is looking for local vendors and food trucks to join us for some future event plans!

We’re adding something NEW to our farm events — a small, local vendor market! 🤎

If you offer handmade goods, boutique items, baked goods, sweet treats, food, drinks, children’s items, farm-inspired products, or something unique, we’d love to hear from you!

We plan to keep this market small and intentionally curated, with limited spaces available in each category.

🌾 A little more about our Monthly Family Days!

Our goal is to create a relaxed, family-friendly day at Piles Ranch where families can visit the animals, fish at the pond, enjoy the farm, grab something to eat, and shop from a small group of local vendors. 🤎

These will be open, non-ticketed events (but discount if tickets are bought in advance), making it easy for families to plan ahead or decide last minute to come out and spend the day with us!

We also want these days to be worthwhile for the small businesses who join us. Vendor spaces will be limited and intentionally curated, and we’ll avoid having multiple vendors offering the same or very similar products whenever possible.

Vendors do not have to commit to every Family Day. Apply once to join our potential vendor list, and as dates are released, you can participate based on your availability!

We’re still working out all the details, but we’re excited to create something that brings families together while supporting other local small businesses. 🤎

🍂 Fall Field Trips Are Now Booking at Piles Ranch! 🎃

Teachers, preschool and daycare directors, homeschool groups, co-ops, and youth groups — it’s time to start planning your September & October field trips!

Bring your group to Piles Ranch for a 2-hour hands-on farm experience filled with animals, nature, learning, and plenty of farm fun.

Students will rotate through activities including:

🐰 Small Animal Encounters — Get up close with bunnies, goats, sheep, piglets, and other animals we have on the ranch.

🌾 Meet & Feed the Farm Animals — Meet some of our larger animals, learn about life on the ranch, and have a chance to help feed them.

🌽 Corn Pit + Farm Fun — Dig, scoop, pour, play, and enjoy some hands-on fun in our corn pit.

🌿 Pond Exploration — Head down to the pond to explore nature, look for wildlife, and discover some of the plants and creatures that call it home.

🎃 PLUS — September & October field trips include Pick-a-Pumpkin!
Each student gets to head out to our fall field, search for their favorite mini pumpkin, and choose one to take home!

After activities, groups are welcome to bring sack lunches and enjoy lunch by the pond before heading home. 🧺

Field Trip Pricing:
🎟 $10 per student
👨‍👩‍👧 $5 per parent/chaperone
🍎 Teachers & aides FREE
💰 $250 minimum per field trip

🍂🐮 WHAT’S HAPPENING AT PILES RANCH 🐮🍂

We have SO much coming up at the ranch over the next few weeks, so here’s one big look at everything happening through September! 🤎

But first, I want to say something we probably don’t say enough…

Every time you purchase a ticket and come visit Piles Ranch, you’re helping us care for the animals you come to love.

Our events and experiences are what help us buy feed and hay, provide vet care, maintain fencing and shelters, make improvements around the farm and simply continue giving this crazy crew the life they deserve.

So when you choose to spend an evening at the ranch or bring your kiddos out to visit, you’re helping make this little family farm possible. And we are incredibly grateful. 🤎

Nigerian Dwarf Buckling-Black/white with brown eyes, born March 23rd. Sweet and has been used in our events

Silkie Nigerian Dwarf Doelings; “Glitter” Silver, brown eyes & “Sparkle” Swiss marked (black/brown/white) born December 2025 were bottle babies and super friendly. -REHOMED

Nigerian Dwarf Wether, silver; 1.5 years old was bottle raised, used in our goat yoga on the farm, events ect his name is Stitch. -REHOMED
