Founded in 1991, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival is a professional theatre company and the Official Shakespeare Festival of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to enrich, inspire, engage and entertain the widest possible audience through first rate professional productions of classical and contemporary plays, with a core commitment to the works of Shakespeare and other master dramatists, and through an array of educational outreach and mentorship programs.

🔆 Community Day: Join us, Saturday, June 27th, starting at 10am, for our annual community day on the campus of DeSales University. Free admission and perfect for all ages.

🫐 Romeo and Juliet Preview at the 39th Annual Blueberry Festival: Come out to Bethlehem's historic Burnside Plantation on July 18th, for an event filled with vendors, live music, and, of course, fresh blueberries. The cast of Romeo and Juliet will be performing select scenes as a special sneak-peak for festival goers. The Blueberry Festival is a ticketed event (available on Historic Bethlehem's website, https://tr.ee/DgxyhKcPcV).

✨ Shakespeare Reimagined: We have teamed up with Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema to bring you even more Shakespeare! Starting June 11th and throughout the summer, the cinema will be playing iconic Shakespeare retellings on the big screen.
