This past Solstice, Artist. Carl Bridge .bridge graciously donated this work to the gallery at Star and Snake. In the artists own words:
“Art is magic. Art is imagination physically manifested through action. Magic is manifestation through imagination. This painting is an inadequate representation of the vision that came as I first was able to focus thought and energy in a way that gave me the experience that confirmed that magic is real. May we feel it more and KNOW it to be true as the light returns. “

An artist residency at Star & Snake offers an incredible opportunity to focus on art making in a beautiful, intention space, separate from the distractions of everyday life. We accept artists in all mediums who’s work explores the esoteric, occult or mystical.

Next Star & Snake Artist Residency will be held June 28th - July 12th, 2019

An Artist Residency at Star & Snake offers an incredible opportunity to focus on making artwork in a beautiful, intentional space, separate from the distractions of regular life. We accept artists in all mediums who’s work explores the esoteric, occult or mystical.

Artist Residencies for 2019 are free of charge. Residents are provided a private room and shared studio space. Residents are responsible for their own travel, meal and material costs.
