KBC’s 4th birthday is coming up October 1, and it has me thinking about where I started and just how much this business has grown. 🤎
When I first discovered permanent jewelry on social media, I loved everything about it. No one nearby was doing it, so I taught myself how to weld and spent weeks testing chains and findings until I found quality supplies I felt proud to offer.
Then came private appointments, home parties, vendor events and pop-ups, along with endless packing, setup and teardown. 😂 Eventually, KBC took over enough of my house that it was time to give my family their space back, so I moved into a space inside J Elizabeth Beauty and finally had a dedicated space and regular business hours.
As KBC grew, I knew I wanted to add another service that fit what I was already building and filled a need in our area. Piercing and luxe ear styling felt like the perfect fit. I wanted a beautiful, welcoming space with an amazing jewelry selection, and especially a place where children could have the best possible first piercing experience.
Four years later, I’m incredibly proud of what I’ve built, and I have a feeling the best parts haven’t even happened yet. 🤎
