12 MONTHS AT HIGHTOWER FALLS | JANUARY

January weddings are for couples who love the quiet, cozy side of Hightower Falls.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
January is typically our coldest month, with bare trees, crisp air and a much quieter feeling throughout the property. The waterfall continues flowing, the historic gristmill stands out against the winter landscape, and the lack of leaves means you get some beautiful views you simply don't see during the warmer months.

THE PROS:
• Beautiful winter scenery
• Fewer leaves = more visibility of the waterfall and historic mill
• Cozy reception weather
• A peaceful, intimate atmosphere
• Winter dates can be a great option for couples wanting something different
• Winter dates offer a more budget friendly option during off season

THE CONS:
• It can be cold for outdoor portions of the day
• Less greenery and color than spring or summer
• You'll want a backup plan for spending extended time outside

THE JANUARY BONUS:
Winter gives Hightower Falls a completely different personality. The bare trees put the focus on the waterfall, rock formations and historic gristmill, making winter wedding photos especially dramatic.

January may be chilly, but your wedding day doesn't have to be any less beautiful.

There’s something special about a natural, flowing waterfall. It ebbs and flows with the seasons, sometimes calm and gentle, sometimes rushing with a little more power.
