Summer Art Camp – Day 3 Recap!
Day 3 was packed with fun, creativity, and inspiration!
Our campers had an exciting visit to the Coca-Cola Museum, where they enjoyed exploring and making wonderful memories together. Back at camp, they had a blast playing co****le, sharing lots of laughter and friendly competition.
The creativity continued as everyone designed their own colorful tie-dye hats, and we can already see their artistic talents shining!
Our campers are also hard at work preparing for our Art Competition, and we can't wait to showcase their amazing creations. The winner will be announced on Friday, so stay tuned!
A special thank you to Pastor Tony Davis for stopping by and pouring wisdom, encouragement, and positivity into our campers. Your words made a lasting impact, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to invest in our youth.

Thank you Soul Whiz for catering lunch. We appreciate you.

Each day brings new adventures, new friendships, and new opportunities to create. We can't wait to see what tomorrow has in store!

Summer Camp Day 2 Recap!
What an amazing second day of Summer Camp! Our campers had a blast painting their very own planters, and their creativity truly shined. A huge THANK YOU to Home Depot for providing such a fun and engaging activity!
We also introduced a new game, "Grab the Mic," and let’s just say the campers absolutely loved it! The laughter, excitement, and confidence they showed made the day even more special. Thank you to Christy Lewis for stopping by and reading to our campers. We love Christy. Stop by the Library and say Hi!
A heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful helpers who work tirelessly behind the scenes each day. Your dedication, patience, and love for our campers do not go unnoticed—we appreciate you more than words can say!
And last but certainly not least, a big shout-out to Taco Man for generously donating lunch today. Your kindness and support helped make our day extra special, and we are beyond grateful!
Day 2 was filled with creativity, fun, teamwork, and so many smiles. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

A huge shoutout to Sarita Dili for stopping by and blessing our campers with delicious snacks, and to Mr. Lewis Borders for making sure we had everything we needed for the day! We are truly grateful for your kindness and support.

What an amazing first day of Summer Camp!

Our campers had a day filled with fun, creativity, learning, and lots of smiles! From creating art to making new friends, Day 1 was a huge success.

A special thank you to Dr. Terri Willis for taking the time to stop by and speak with our campers about the importance of dental hygiene. We appreciate your valuable insights and your commitment to helping our children learn healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Also Thank you Destiny Whatley for being our Instructor for the day.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store!

SPECIAL GUEST SPOTLIGHT

We are honored to welcome Mr. Ken Veal (BKA “Pooh”), former alumni and hometown legend, as a special guest speaker for our Summer Camp!

A true Cedartown giant, Mr. Veal made his mark as a fierce Georgia Bulldog warrior, a proud Cedartown ambassador, and one of the strongest and most respected linemen ever raised in Polk County.

More than an outstanding athlete, he represents Black Southern Excellence, perseverance, leadership, and the power of believing in your dreams. Throughout his journey, he has inspired countless young athletes to work hard, stay focused, and never give up.

Mr. Veal will be speaking with our campers about his personal journey, the lessons he learned through sports and life, and the importance of character, discipline, and determination.

Join us in giving a warm welcome to Mr. Ken “Pooh” Veal as he pours wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration into the next generation!
