July Session – Last Day of Summer Art Camp!

What an amazing way to end an incredible week! We truly went out with a bang!

Our campers enjoyed another exciting visit to the Coca-Cola Museum, created colorful tie-dye pencil pouches, made beautiful bracelets, and proudly showcased the artwork they worked so hard on throughout the week.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Benefield and her daughter for taking the time to judge our campers’ artwork. We appreciate your support and encouragement!

We also want to extend a huge thank you to Mrs. Imani Davis for inspiring our campers by sharing her entrepreneurial journey and encouraging them to dream big. Thank you as well for blessing our volunteers with your wonderful shea butter cream—we truly appreciate your generosity!

A Heartfelt Thank You to Mr. Ken Veal (BKA “Pooh”)!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Ken Veal (BKA “Pooh”), former alumnus and hometown legend, for spending time with our Summer Art Camp today.

A true Cedartown giant, Mr. Veal made his mark as a fierce Georgia Bulldog, a proud Cedartown ambassador, and one of the strongest and most respected linemen ever raised in Polk County.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring journey and delivering such a powerful motivational message to our campers. Your words of encouragement challenged them to believe in themselves, work hard, and never stop reaching for their dreams.

We are grateful for your willingness to pour into the next generation and inspire our young leaders to reach for the stars. Your impact will be remembered long after camp is over.

Another Great Day at Summer Art Camp!
What an amazing day of creativity, fun, and adventure! Our campers stayed busy from start to finish. We enjoyed a trip to the movies to see Minions & Monsters, painted adorable wooden gnomes, and had a blast with outdoor games and activities.

A heartfelt thank you to Mrs.Kimberly Hutchins and Mrs.Tamera Wofford for taking the time to volunteer with our campers today. Your kindness, support, and willingness to serve made a difference, and we are truly grateful.

Summer Camp Day 3
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Latronja Sockwell for pouring wisdom, encouragement, and knowledge into our campers! Your inspiring words made a lasting impact, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to invest in our youth.

A special thank you as well for the thoughtful Fidget Pouches—our campers loved them!

Ms. Sockwell is a graduate of the University of West Georgia and holds an Ed.S. in Professional Counseling. She is entering her 9th year as a school counselor and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for the past 2 years.

We are excited to see Ms. Sockwell walking the halls of Cedartown Middle School this school year. Congratulations on this new chapter, and thank you again for making a difference in the lives of our campers! 💙

July Session

Another Amazing Day at Summer Art Camp!

Today was filled with creativity, laughter, and fun! Our campers designed their very own personalized mugs, painted on wood, and created unique magnets to take home. We also made time to get moving with some classic outdoor games like Red Rover and Hopscotch!

It’s been wonderful watching our campers use their imagination, build friendships, and create lasting memories each day. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
