Today is National Nonprofit Day!
The Ozaukee County Agricultural Society, the nonprofit organization behind the Ozaukee County Fair, is proud to be a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting youth, agriculture and community.
The Ozaukee County Fair is not financially supported by the City of Cedarburg or Ozaukee County. Our Fair is made possible through the incredible support of our generous sponsors, partners, vendors, exhibitors, Fairgoers and, especially, our dedicated volunteers.
The Ozaukee County Fair may be known for five days of fun each summer, but the impact of what we do reaches far beyond Fair week.
The numbers tell an incredible story:
⭐ $16.1 MILLION annual impact on our local economy
⭐ 68,900 visitors
⭐ $5.5 MILLION in wages created
⭐ 300 hotel room nights generated
⭐ $403,000 in sales and hotel tax revenue
⭐ 11% of our visitors travel from more than 50 miles away
And we’re part of an even bigger story. Across Wisconsin, 74 county, district and state fairs welcome approximately 3.4 million visitors and contribute an incredible $1 BILLION annually to local economies!
But to us, the impact is about much more than dollars.
It’s about supporting youth and agriculture.
It’s about bringing families and neighbors together.
It’s about supporting local businesses, organizations and jobs.
It’s about hundreds of volunteers giving their time to continue a tradition that has been part of our community for generations.
On National Nonprofit Day, we are especially grateful to every volunteer, sponsor, exhibitor, vendor, partner and Fairgoer who helps make the Ozaukee County Fair possible.
Five days of Fair. A year-round impact on our community.
