This afternoon, we were honored to host Salute to the Fallen's unveiling of the G.R.U. (Guardian Response Unit) at ImOn Ice Cedar Rapids.

Through the hard work, passion, and dedication of John and Misti Thompson, Salute to the Fallen has become a beacon of hope for military personnel, veterans, first responders, and families in need. A vital part of their mission is providing su***de prevention services and PTSD counseling to individuals not only in Cedar Rapids, but throughout the surrounding communities.

The newly renovated ambulance, now serving as the Guardian Response Unit, helps bridge a critical gap by providing rapid, in-person crisis support wherever it is needed most.

Congratulations to Salute to the Fallen on this incredible achievement and for the life-changing impact you continue to make every day.

ImOn Ice - Cedar Rapids is honored to host Salute to the Fallen's unveiling of the Guardian Response Unit — a renovated mobile mental health unit created to support Iowa veterans in crisis. 🇺🇸

The unveiling ceremony will take place Monday, June 1 at 2:00 p.m. at ImOn Ice - Cedar Rapids, and the community is invited to attend as we recognize this important resource for veterans and their families.

We are proud to work with Salute to the Fallen and support the incredible work they continue to do for those who have served.
