I thought some of you might like to know a little about me, the artist on this page you’re following. When I’m not working on art/photo projects I like to explore new healthy recipes.😃 I’m learning gluten & dairy free and that’s not been easy. But I realized I’m extremely perfectionistic about food prep, like it’s art!!! Sheesh! Well, it is art! It takes me FOREVER to do EVERYTHING! And then….I try to keep this a secret…..but even my hair and face in the mornings! Same thing! I guess that’s the nature of a realist artist/photographer. But with God’s help, I’d like to undo perfectionism a bit more in other areas of my life.
So these are sweet potato rounds, a little tedious to make, if you’re picky about getting the non dairy feta crumbles equally distributed, and mmmm the maple syrup! They are so yummy fresh from the oven!

‘Obadiah Restoration’ it’s titled. I’ve been longing for a new style in my Fine Art photography. This Eagle image is my completed experiment. I dug out an old shot from way back on my previous camera. Used digital brushes blending in textures, plus a flag stars image faintly blended into the brushed background. Ready to be test printed on canvas or maybe a ragged textured art paper?

What if we could have a Creative Arts Event here in Cedar Rapids that would facilitate artists who sense a calling from God to display art that communicates what is on God’s heart. To share the creative process as a form of worship? To invite the community to come and experience the Arts in a way they may have never experienced before.
