Thank you to Phoebe Prince for her outstanding performance of the National Anthem last night! Phoebe is involved in Momentum Show Choir, Madrigal Singers, and A Slice of Jazz at Washington High School and was recently selected to the Iowa All-State Jazz Choir. We appreciate her sharing her incredible talent with our players, families, and fans. Thank you for helping make it a memorable night at the ballpark ⚾🇺🇸

Show Choir Parent/Guardian Meeting tomorrow night in the WHS Little Theater!

If your student will be a part of Celebration or Momentum next year, we’ll see you and your student at 6:00pm tomorrow night to get some info from the directors about our 26-27 season. Please spread the word & thank you!

Good afternoon,

Please see the attached document to view the results of our auditions. You’ll find the rosters of Celebration, Momentum, A Slice of Jazz, and Madrigal Singers. Please make sure to join the appropriate Google Classroom pages of the groups to which you’ll belong next year using your crschools.us email address along with the corresponding “Remind” pages so that you can get communication from us this Summer.

Before the rosters, you will find a few pages of directions to follow if you’d like to discuss auditions further with us. Please read it carefully and adhere to the procedure. Additionally:

There will be a brief meeting for all students who have been placed into Mads and Slice on Monday, June 1st right after school in the choir room. Be there!

There will be a meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00pm in the WHS Little Theater for all show choir students PLUS a parent/guardian - make plans to be there if you or your student are planning on being in show choir next year.

We were so impressed with the auditions and are absolutely thrilled with what the 2026-2027 school year is going to look and SOUND like. Thank you for your work.

Next year’s groups are going to be fantastic! Look for the rosters for all Wash Choirs to come out Friday afternoon. If you’ll be in a WHS show choir next year, make plans to attend our parent/guardian meeting on Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:00pm. Make sure to bring your guardian! Thank you, singers!

We were honored to have Haddie LaVake perform the National Anthem as our first vocalist of the season last week! Haddie is a senior at Washington High School and is heavily involved in the choir program, participating in Momentum, Madrigal Singers, and A Slice of Jazz.
