One thing about running a business that people don’t always see is that life doesn’t stop when things get hard.
Production slowed down and almost came to a complete stop after Foxx had a health scare. Without going too much into the details, it was a scary night, and it’s something we’re still navigating. Thankfully, everything is looking good so far, but moving forward, we have to be extra mindful of his health and make sure he gets his medication every single day.
I’m not going to lie, it put a lot of things into perspective for me. When you’re trying to build something of your own, it’s easy to get caught up in deadlines, production, orders, and everything you feel like you need to get done. But sometimes life reminds you what actually matters.
And honestly, if things had gone differently that night, I don’t know where I’d be mentally right now. Foxx isn’t just my dog. He’s my little homie, my day one, and a part of my family. 💙
Building a business isn’t always consistent growth, new products, and exciting announcements. Sometimes it’s slowing down, figuring things out, and putting the people (and little homies) you love first.
We’re still here, still building, and still moving forward. Just taking it one day at a time and being a little more grateful for the things that really matter.
