Here’s the full scanned version of my windswept beach horses! This piece languished for far too long on the easel and I’m happy to have finished it and be happy with how it turned out. The reference photo is from the supremely talented Karen Broemmelsick, and the piece itself is approx 9x12” on Brown Pastelmat, entirely in colored pencil. I got to use a wide range of brands including Polychromos, Pablo, Holbein, Derwent Lightfast, Luminance, and Derwent Drawing.
