We filmed a movie scene 🎬 here at the Rink, about a yr ago. That movie will be coming out on TUBI very soon, “Guilty Pleasures”

They are coming back to film an other movie scene tonight. If you would like to come out and try and be in the movie and be an extra skating in the background, you are more than welcome.

I need everyone to park across the street in the field, because all the actors and film equipment. People will be parking at the Rink.

Here is an update of the way my Jacob box looks now. Words cannot describe how I feel when I just sit in front of this and I take it in on how many people have sent stuff in from across the United States. I’m making this post right now and if you could see me, you would see that my eyes are all watery and I’m very choked. You really never know how emotional a parent gets when they receive something that honors their fallen child. Even though he was 28 years old, he was still my little boy. I miss him so much.

I hope y’all never stop sending me patches. I will find room to put them in this box. Trust me on that.

Saturday was my early Father’s Day presents,,,

I got a patch and a coin from, Josh White. With the San Jose PD Honor Guard. The coin is very sharp

I got a patch from Cory Manning, Riley County, Kansas

I got a patch from Eric Hagelee, Mendota Heights, Est 1956, the same yr as the Rink

I got my shirts in from Terrell, where I place an ad, for Jacob

I got all that on the same day

Minnesota, Kansas, California, and TEXAS

Words can’t describe how happy I was yesterday, I’m still on Cloud 9

I received this the other day, and I’m just now posting it. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you to Jerry Valladerez and the Terrell ISD, for sending me a patch and two coins. I will be able to display both sides of the coins in my Jacob box.

I now have one Fire department and one ISD department. I am very grateful.🙏🙏🙏

I got a couple more patches for my Jacob box.

The first one is from a friend of mine who used to be on my softball team, who I used to play poker with, who has moved to be a Sheriff for Brown County.
Mr Chuck Woods. Thank you so much. I like the way your pants is in the shape of the county that you work for. That is very unique.

The second one is from Mr. Greg Borth, with the ATO Organization. They also have a very unique patch, in being that the Dallas Stars logo is on there.

You would think that after getting so many patches, it would not hit me the way it does. But when I opened the mailbox and I see a patch, my heart swells up with pride. My eyes start to water almost instantly, knowing that somebody out there, some organization, some agency, has taken the time to send me something in honor of my fallen son.

I will always be eternally grateful, 🙏🙏🙏

I absolutely never get tired of making a post, about hanging a patch up in my Jacob box

Is an undescribable great feeling when I open up the mailbox and I see a letter there, and when I pull the letter out, I feel something in there and I automatically know it’s a patch.

This patch is from Prosser, Washington. When you see that an agency from so far away, knows about your Son, it hits a little differently. I had to look up where processor is, and I saw that is pretty close to Tacoma Washington. My two younger brothers were born there. We were itty-bitty at that time and the only thing I really remember from when I lived in Washington, is Mount Rainier and the city Yakima.

I’m so happy to Announce that I got my 1st Fire Dept patch today, and it’s only right that it’s from Terrell, the city where Jacob was an officer

Veronica, gave me one from Connecticut

Officer Hale, gave me on from Cedar Hill PD

Officer Mitchell, gave me two from his extra shirt, these were literally cut off and given to me, I am at Cook Children’s hospital in Ft Worth, Condor has been here 3 days, he had DKA and in now Type 1 diabetes, so for me to get these 2 patches, they have an extra special meaning to me
