USS Providence 71796

USS Providence 71796 The USS Providence, NCC-71796, Gemini Class Exploratory Cruiser, is a chapter of STARFLEET: The International Star Trek Fan Association, located in Region one.

In March 1995, the shuttlecraft PROVIDENCE received authorization from the Department of Technical Services for it's name. The Command Staff was appointed in February 1995, and the Executive Committee was finalized in April 1995, with all positions filled. In November 1996 PROVIDENCE was commissioned as a starship with all rights and responsibilities due that position. Our Gemini class ship design

was approved by Starfleet's Advanced Starship Design Bureau and the Department of Technical Services Starfleet in November 1998 and we celebrated on December 5th 1998.
