Charlie Price (He/Him) A bit confused, a bit unfocused, a hero hiding under a victim's mantle.
Tenor (C3 -B4)

Lola/Simon (She/Her/He/Him) Ethnicity: BIPOC or Person of Color A prize fighter's physique draped in satin. A talented drag queen with a killer voice and winning ways. Tenor (C3-B4)

Nicola (She/Her) Charlie's long-term girlfriend. Driven, uncompromising. Mezzo-Soprano (B3-F5)

Lauren (She/Her) Beautiful and strong working-class girl. Mezzo-Soprano (B3-F5)

Don/Ensemble (He/Him) Lola's nemesis. Burly hyper masculine bear of a factory worker. Baritone/Tenor (C3-F4, must have falsetto to D5 for finale)

Pat/Ensemble (She/Her) Officious office manager who will let loose her wild side when allowed. Mezzo-Soprano (B3-F5)

Trish/Ensemble (She/Her) Factory worker with a husband and kids to worry over. Mezzo-Soprano (B3-D5)

George/Ensemble (He/Him) Factory manager keeping up traditions. Reserved. Baritone (C3-F4)

Mr. Price/Ensemble (He/Him) Charlie's father. Also plays Richard Bailey, Nicola’s attractive boss. Baritone (B2-G4)

Harry/Ensemble (He/Him) A contemporary of Charlie's but his opposite. Successful, self-aware and confident. Also plays Simon Sr., Simon’s unforgiving father. Tenor (E3-C4)

The Angels (He/Him/She/Her/They/Them) The drag performers who populate The Blue Angel Nightclub.
Baritones/Tenors (some sing to C5 and some sing to A4)

Young Charlie (He/ Him) as a seven year old boy. Lost, quiet, reflective. Age: 7 to 10 (G4-D5)

Young Lola/Simon (He/ Him) Ethnicity: BIPOC or Person of Color a ten year old boy who already knows he's destined to wear high heels.
Age: 9 to 12 (G3-D5)

Please prepare 16-32 bars from a song of your choice (please bring a music track or sheet music). Will be asked to dance, and read from the script.
