At opening night of Anastasia, we awarded the Iver Christoffersen Scholarship to Madisen Maxa!

Originally from Cedar Rapids, Madisen became involved in the Cedar Valley theatre scene through her time at UNI. In her essay Madisen stated, “Through theater, I learned how to empathize, care for others, and see the world from different perspectives. My goal is to pass that experience on to future generations and help students grow into their best selves. I believe our future depends on the next generation of students, and I want to help guide them through my passion for education and theater.”
