“I was fortunate enough to have represented New Zealand in Japan, sculpting those snow sculptures two years in a row in the late eighties!
It was the Annual Yuki Festival in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
We were part of an international competition amongst 46 Countries!
What an incredible experience it was!
One I will truly never ever forget!

I designed the Bison Logo literation for a basketball tournament that we were competing in, probably for State 1968!
I never really received any notable recognition but the original silkscreen was retrieved from the GFHS Art Department some time later by R.B.(Dick) Hanson.....and at some point I was again in possession of it, yes the original screen!.... way back from 1968!
That’ is crazy, ....!
Then in 2018 Phil Faccenda (class of 67) reprinted Shirts from that very original design,.... and yes the screen still exists!
I have seen many variations of my original and it has proven to be a mainstay of Great Falls Souvenir Diet!
Since we are remembering Great Falls in all it’s glory this logo has been a part of it’s history for just 52 years and we the class of ‘68 are responsible for it!
Let me know if you like it, tell me if you ‘never’ noticed it....and please if you would like a ‘Totally Original’, unadulterated printed shirt....(we can make that happen)!
I could even ‘autograph It’ for you personally.... (if you don’t think it’ll cause my head to swell)!
