UNI Illuminate Dance Troupe Illuminate Dance Troupe (IDT) is a student organization at the University of Northern Iowa. We learn and perform dance styles from all around the world.

Illuminate Dance Troupe is a student organization at the University of Northern Iowa. We learn and perform dance styles from all around the world including ballroom styles such as waltz, swing, foxtrot and tango and folk styles from countries all around the world. IDT produces 2 major shows a year, one in the fall semester, usually Homecoming weekend, with Orchesis Dance Company, and one in the sp

ring semester, usually the end of April. IDT also performs at various events throughout the year. IDT meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5:30 and is directed by Mandy Masmar.
