KirstenJegsen Copenhagen I am a craftsman and my handmade creations are made with quality yarns from Denmark and the USA and knitted with attention to details. Knitting is my passion!

There is never enough hours in the day to knit…. … Born and raised in the Southern part of Jutland (Jylland) in Denmark, I moved to the USA back in the 90’s. I always enjoyed spending time at my Farmor (Grandma) Tinne's house where the afternoons were spend in the "nicer" living room which was set for a traditional "Sønderjysk Kaffebord" ~ traditional Southern Jutland afternoon coffee table with a

ll sorts of home baked like kringle, butter cookies and other favorites from the Southern part of Jutland. I was especially fascinated by how my Farmor and Aunties were able to multitask... Knitting at full speed while having lively conversations, sipping coffee and enjoying the home baked... I wanted to be like them and was hooked at a very early age, knew how to knit the basic stitches before staring 1st grade. I carry my knitting everywhere I go. My full time job includes traveling and I knit my way thru airports, planes, trains etc... Knitting is a great conversation starter and it is my way of meditating. Comments
